Background and Focus
My Focus Areas
As a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, I provide comprehensive evaluations for depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I manage medications for people with those conditions, as well as for individuals who have already been diagnosed with ADHD. I welcome and treat adults of all races, sexual orientations, and gender identities.
My Background
I began my nursing career working in outpatient specialty clinics, but soon realized I was more interested in tending to the emotional needs of my patients than to providing physical care. This led me to become a psychiatric nurse so I could pursue my passion in helping people struggling with mental health issues. To further my ability to provide care to my clients, I attended graduate school at Seattle University to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner, earning a master’s degree in nursing science in 2016.
